Definition

The number of people who have died from selected diseases is expressed per 100,000 people in the population. The indicator is based on the UN’s definition. Cardiovascular diseases cover two causes of death: heart diseases and other circulatory diseases.

The figures are obtained from the Danish Health Data Authority’s Health Data Bank on 24 March 2026.
