Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) V1:2025-

Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) is a statistical classification of economic activities, primarily developed for statistical purposes.

DB25 is a six-digit Danish subdivision of the EU classification, the four-digit NACE Rev. 2.1, which is a new version of NACE Rev. 2 from 2008. NACE Rev. 2.1 is a regional version of the UN’s international nomenclature, ISIC Rev. 5, which is a new version of ISIC Rev. 4 from 2008.

Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) has been published as a book in PDF format. This version contains all activity codes, with an introductory chapter on classification principles and rules, descriptions of economic activities, special aggregations (standard groupings), and an alphabetical index. NACE Rev. 2.1 entered into force on 1 January 2025 in all EU Member States pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2023/137 amending Regulation (EC) No 1893/2006 establishing the statistical classification of economic activities.

The transition from DB07 to DB25 takes place in different years across statistical domains. In Denmark, however, most statistics published in 2026 will be based on DB25. All statistics will be published for at least one year using both DB25 and DB07.
