Production of fruit and vegetables

The figures are collected in an annual questionnaire-based survey among farms that have applied for area support (basic payment) or that have a greenhouse. The statistics are a total count among farms that meet these minimum limits for each crop group. Data is collected annually via a web questionnaire. The collected data is debugged based on consistency rules and yield limits.

The figures are collected in a questionnaire-based survey among farms that have applied for area support (basic payment) or that have a greenhouse. Organic production is calculated based on figures from the Danish Agency for Green Land Management and Aquatic Environment. The statistics are a total count among farms that meet these minimum limits for each crop group: 5 ha. with vegetables in the open field, 2 ha. with pome fruit, 2 ha. with berries and stone fruit and a greenhouse of at least 100 m2.

Data collection

Data is collected annually via a web questionnaire. The form and instructions can be found on the Reporting page for Fruit and Vegetable Production.

Data validation

The collected data is debugged based on consistency rules and yield limits. Suspicious values ​​are compared with previous years' results and with comparable farms.

Data compilation

3-5 percent of the responses are imputed unweighted using donor (similar farm).

Adjustment

No corrections are made to data beyond what is already described under 'Data validation' and 'Data processing'.
