Definition
Denmark does not produce continuous and official statistics in accordance with the method underlying the indicator. According to the indicator’s definition, the Labour Force Survey is the best statistical source for measuring the informal economy. Statistics Denmark, which conducts the Labour Force Survey, currently has no plans to measure the overall informal economy (as of January 2026).
