Enhance international support for implementing effective and targeted capacity-building in developing countries to support national plans to implement all the Sustainable Development Goals, including through North-South, South-South and triangular cooperation.

17.9.1: Financial and technical assistance
Definition
The indicator measures the technical and financial support provided to developing countries to strengthen their capacity to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. This support takes place through North-South cooperation (developed countries assist developing countries with expertise and resources), South-South cooperation (developing countries share experiences and solutions), and triangular cooperation (a combination of North-South and South-South to enable more effective capacity building).
