They present flows of energy products according to the divisions and scope of national accounts. Flows include supply from production, extraction or imports and use in the form of consumption, exports and stock changes. Energy consumption in the the energy accounts is fully comparable with the description of the economic activity as described in the national accounts. In 1974, the first energy accounts for Denmark were made for the years back to 1966., Statistical presentation, The energy accounts account for 46 different energy commodities. The energy accounts are made up in specific physical quantities (tonnes, m3, GWh), energy units (joule) and gross energy consumption. The energy account is published in newsletters (Nyt) and in the statistical database. , Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Energy accounts are compiled using a method of product balancing. Supply and use of each energy product are compiled in a way to ensure their equality and are balanced by utilizing all the relevant information from the available sources., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The energy accounts are used by ministries, governmental agencies and organizations as a part of the surveillance of measures in the field of energy policy. Within Statistics Denmark, the energy accounts are used as basis for the supply use tables of the national accounts and as basis for the compilation of the air emissions accounts. The energy accounts are furthermore used as basis for input-output model based analyses., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, Precision and reliability are estimated to be great for the overall energy consumption thanks to energy statistics from the Danish Energy Agency as well as statistics on production and foreign trade with energy products. The precision of the distribution of energy use by industry is estimated to be less accurate. , Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics is published anually approx. 6 months after the reference period. However, on the most detailed level the energy accounts are published approx. 18 months after the reference period. The first publication 6 months after the reference period includes only data aggregated on 36 industry groups. The statistics is normally published without delays on the announced date. , Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The energy accounts are available in a comparable form back to 1966, which allows for consistent time series analysis. The energy accounts were revised for all year with the publication on 20 November 2013. The main focus of the revision was to ensure comparability and consistency over time. The statistics follow international standards and are thus largely comparable with similar statistics from other countries. , Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, Statistics are published in a Danish press release , Nyt fra Danmarks Statistik, . Counties and municipalities, v1:1970

Please note, a more current version of this classification is now available. See the current version , here., Name: , AMT_KOM_V1_1970 , Description: , Before 1970, Denmark was divided into approx. 1300 parish municipalities, 86 market town municipalities and 25 counties. The Danish Municipal Reform in 1970 resulted by law in a new local and regional structure for the whole country with two administrative levels - municipalities and counties - and thereby a change of administrative units. , With the Danish Municipal Reform in 1970, the number of counties was reduced to 14 and municipalities to 277. Copenhagen Municipality (code 101) and Frederiksberg Municipality (code 147) were the only ones assigned both county and municipal tasks. , As of May 18. 1971 Asminderød-Grønholt Municipality (code 203) changed name to Fredensborg-Humlebæk Kommune (kode 208). , From 1 April 1974, Sengeløse Municipality (code 177) was incorporated into Høje-Taastrup Municipality (code 169) and Store Magleby Municipality (code 179) was incorporated into Dragør Municipality (code 155), which reduced the total number of municipalities to 275. , This classification includes Christiansø (code 411). Christiansø is not part of a municipality. Instead it is administered directly by the state through the Danish Ministry of Defence. , The geographical breakdown of counties and municipalities is consistent with the Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics NUTS., Valid from: , January 1, 1970 , Valid to: , December 31, 2002 , Office: , Metode og Data Science , Contact: , Rohan James Draper, , rjd@dst.dk, , ph. +45 21 33 89 16 , Documentation of statistics: Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark

Contact info, Food Industries, Business Statistics , Karsten Kjeld Larsen , +45 21 29 55 76 , KKL@dst.dk , Get documentation of statistics as pdf, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2025 , Previous versions, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2024, Ownership of agricultural land in Denmark 2020, The purpose of the statistics Ownership of agricultural land is to show how the Danish agricultural land is distributed by nationality of the owners. , Statistical presentation, The statistics show on an annual basis the number of owners and how the ownership of Danish agricultural land is distributed by the nationalities of the owners, regions, type of owner, gender, age and size., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, The IACS register (Integrated Agricultural Control System) The General Land Register is merged with the Owner Register. For personal identification numbers, citizenship is found via the Personal Register. For business ownership, the CVR is used for real and legal owners. If there are only legal owners, data from Eurostat's group register is supplemented, whereby the owner's nationality can be determined. For foreign owners, the country of residence is used as the country code. The owners can be both private individuals and companies., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, The statistics meet a need, particularly from the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, to know the extent of Danish agricultural land in foreign ownership. The statistics are also expected to be of interest to political parties, the industry and the public in general., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The statistics cover all agricultural land in Denmark for which crop subsidies have been applied for. Very little agricultural land is cultivated in Denmark for which area support is not applied for. The source data for the statistics are obtained from the General Agricultural Register (GLR), which is also used as a source in the Agricultural and Horticultural Census, and covers virtually all agricultural land in Denmark, and is considered a reliable source. The cadastral register overlaid on the applied plots of land is considered to be of high quality. However, the comparison of field maps and the cadastre gives rise to some choices of cadastres/plots for the statistics. For ownership by persons, citizenship is considered to be of very high quality. Information on ownership from the CVR when it is persons or real owners is considered to be of good quality. Supplement with data from Eurostat's group register are made., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics will be published 4-5 months from the reference time December 31. , Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The statistics are comparable with the farm structure survey, but the figures for the agricultural area are not exactly identical in the two statistics. This is due to fact that the statistics include all land cultivated by farmers applying for crop subsidies whereas the farm structure survey as main rule only include farm of at least 5,0 hectares. The units in the two statistics are not the same. The statistics on ownership of agricultural land includes the landowners which could be farmers men not necessarily are., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, These statistics are published in Statbank Denmark and the News letter "Nyt fra Danmarks Statistik" (in Danish only),, Read more about accessibility and clarity

The accounts also include imports and exports of waste. The Waste Accounts have been published since 2015, based on data from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. The Waste Accounts is a part of the Environmental-Economic Accounts for Denmark (Green National Accounts)., Statistical presentation, Waste accounts measure the amounts of generated waste distributed to 117 industry groups. Within the industry groups, waste is distributed according to categories and forms of treatment. Imports and exports of waste are distributed according to form of treatment and waste category. The waste accounts are published annually and disseminated through a press release and tables in the StatBank., Municipal waste by municipality, treatment form and waste type is compiled for the first time in 2023., Read more about statistical presentation, Statistical processing, Waste data are validated in the Danish Environmental Protection Agency before Statistics Denmark receives them. The data processing in Statistics Denmark primarily concerns the detailed and complete distribution of the waste to the 117 industry groups of the Green National Accounts., Read more about statistical processing, Relevance, Waste accounts are of relevance for administrative bodies, researchers, NGOs, businesses, the educational sector and individuals - all with interests in waste, resources, economic-environmental interactions, the circular economy etc. To ensure international comparability, the waste accounts are prepared according to the UN statistical standard SEEA (System of Environmental Economic Accounting) 2012., Read more about relevance, Accuracy and reliability, The quality is good concerning the figures for total amounts of waste as well as the amounts for different forms of treatment. However, the distribution by waste fractions become more uncertain at more detailed levels, due to measurement errors (in the reporting)., The detailed distribution according to industry groups is subject to uncertainty, both in the source (ADS) and in the assumptions made in the distribution of waste to detailed industry groups. , Waste by individual municipalities is less precise than totals for the municipality groups due to waste from one municipality being treated at a facility in a different municipality, or waste stations being used by inhabitants of several different municipalities etc., Read more about accuracy and reliability, Timeliness and punctuality, The statistics are published 21 months after the end of the reference period. The long production time is due to the dependency on data from the Danish Environmental Protection Agency. The statistics are normally released on schedule without delay., Read more about timeliness and punctuality, Comparability, The methods and data sources for the Waste Accounts are unchanged throughout the period covered by published figures. International comparison is possible with all other waste accounts based on UN's statistical standard SEEA 2012., Read more about comparability, Accessibility and clarity, These statistics are published yearly in a Danish press release and in the StatBank under , Waste Accounts, ., Read more about accessibility and clarity

    Counties and municipalities, v2:2003

Please note, a more current version of this classification is now available. See the current version , here., Name: , AMT_KOM_V2_2003 , Description: , Before 1970, Denmark was divided into approx. After the amalgamation of the Bornholm municipalities in 2003, Bornholm's Regional Municipality (code 400) held the same special status as Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. , From 1 April 1974, Sengeløse Municipality was incorporated into Høje-Taastrup Municipality (code 169) and Store Magleby Municipality was incorporated into Dragør Municipality (code 155), which reduced the total number of municipalities to 275. , From 1 January 2003, Bornholm's Regional Municipality (code 400) was established by merging Allinge-Gudhjem (code 401), Hasle (code 403), Nexø (code 405), Rønne (code 407) and Aakirkeby (code 409) Municipalities and Bornholm County. The merger reduced the total number of municipalities in Denmark to 271. , This classification includes Christiansø (code 411). Christiansø is not part of a municipality. Instead it is administered directly by the state through the Danish Ministry of Defence. , The geographical breakdown of counties and municipalities is consistent with the Nomenclature of territorial units for statistics , NUTS, ., Valid from: , January 1, 1970 , Valid to: , December 31, 2005 , Office: , Metode og Data Science , Contact: , Rohan James Draper, , rjd@dst.dk, , ph. +45 21 33 89 16 ,
