The importance of cultural and creative industries in the national economy

The statistics are published approximately three months after the release of a new reference year for the input-output tables and the final national accounts, which usually occurs at the end of June, i.e., approximately 20 months after the end of the reference year. This includes the release of both preliminary and final figures.

The input-output tables are published once a year, simultaneously with the release of the final national accounts. The publication date for the final reference year is 2.5 years after its conclusion. The two preliminary years are published at the same time as the final year, 2.5 years after the end of the reference year.

Timeliness and time lag - final results

The input-output tables are published punctually once a year, simultaneously with the release of the final national accounts. The publication date for the final reference year is 2.5 years after its conclusion. The typically two preliminary years are published alongside the final year 2.5 years after the end of the reference year, covering t-2 and t-1, where t is the current year.

Going forward, the statistics on the importance of the cultural and creative industries in the national economy will be updated approximately three months after the release of a new reference year for the input-output tables and the final national accounts, which typically occurs at the end of June. The aim is to update the statistics exceptionally with the final versions of the national accounts and input-output tables for 2021 and 2022, as well as the preliminary version for 2023, as soon as possible after the publication of the national accounts in June 2025.
