Strikes and lockouts

How many working days are lost due to strikes and lockouts? How many employees are affected by the conflicts? The statistics shed light on the extent of work stoppages caused by strikes and lockouts, based on reports from the Danish Employers’ Association (DA) and the largest public and private employers outside DA.

Termination of work due to strike or lockout.

In relation to work stoppages, the number of lost working days are calculated by multiplying the length of the work stoppage (days) by the number of employees involved.
