Where can I find prices of different types of energy? How many electric vehicle charging stations are there in Denmark?

Energy prices

In Statistics Denmark’s StatBank Denmark, you will find four tables on electricity and natural gas prices for households and non-households respectively as well as a single table with the average price (in USD) of North Sea oil.

On the Danish Energy Agency’s website, you can find statistics and key figures on the subject of energy, e.g. energy prices.

For questions on energy prices, the Danish Energy Agency generally refers to Forsyningstilsynet/the Danish Utility Regulator (DUR), since DUR regulates the utility companies supplying electricity, natural gas and district heating, and DUR also approves prices, profits and pricing methods.

Green Power Denmark shows current electricity prices as well as solar and wind's share of Danish energy production. The figures originate from Energinet's Energy Data Portal.

At Drivkraft Danmark, you can find both current prices and the historic price trend from 1970 onwards for e.g. petrol, diesel fuel for motor vehicles and oil.

How many electric vehicle charging stations are there in Denmark?

The Ministry of Transport often publishes information and news about charging stations Ladeinfrastruktur og opladelige biler (in Danish).

How many wind turbines do we have in Denmark?

The Danish Energy Agency's register (in Danish) contains information on the location, size and production of all Danish wind power plants. The register goes back to 1977.
