Our projects

Statistics Denmark implements projects in other countries with the purpose to build up these countries’ capacity to produce reliable, comparable, timely and available statistics. Below is a list of the countries we currently support., Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam, January 2024/January 2025 – December 2026/December 2027, Statistics Denmark and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on one side and the national statistical institutions in Ghana, Morocco and Vietnam on the other side have agreed to implement Phase II of the Strategic Sector Cooperation projects in the area of statistics. The aim of the second phase is that,  partner countries are strengthened and in a better position to consistently provide a reliable and credible evidence-base to sensitise decision-makers, implementers and key actors responsible for advancing a just green transition, as well as for the general public at large. , Vietnam entered Phase II in January 2025. Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) V1:2025-

Name: , DB25_V1_2025 , Description: , Dansk Branchekode 2025 (DB25) is a statistical classification of economic activities, for which the purpose is primarily for statistical use. The introduction, which describes rules and guidelines for classifying activities as well as annexes, has not been finalised, as DST is still awaiting content from the UN/EU., DB25 is a 6-digit Danish subdivision of the EU classification, which is the 4-digit NACE rev. 2.1, which again is a new version of NACE rev. 2 from 2008. NACE rev. 2.1 is the regional version of UN's international classification, ISIC rev. 5, which is a new version of ISIC Rev. 4 from 2008. Initially, DB25 will only be available in Danish. A complete version in English will be available once the Danish version is final in its entirety. Currently, codes and titles are final, but until we get the missing material from UN/EU, the explanatory notes can be subject to updates, if we receive changes from the EU or we find errors., We update the information and files for download on , Statistics Denmark's website , , where you also can read about the update., NACE rev. 2.1 came into force on 1 January 2025 in all EU member states according to Regulation (EU) 2023/137 amending Regulation (EC) No. 1893/2006 on the statistical classification of economic activities. Statistics Denmark operates the classification in cooperation with The Ministry of Higher Education and Science (UFM) as well as the Ministry of Children and Education (BUVM). , The classification covers both regulated and private educations and serves as a national standard for organising, describing and comparing the different possibilities for educations within Denmark’s educational system., All educations in DDU have a unique four-digit completed educations code, called AUDD-code, e.g. 4443: Miller. New Pricing Model

In 2026, Denmark's Data Portal at Statistics Denmark will introduce a new pricing model that will affect all users of Statistics Denmark’s microdata schemes – initially for new projects established in 2026., The pricing model in DDP App is closely linked to the introduction of broader projects. The logic is to offer broad, long-term projects that can be used for several activities within a defined purpose. Therefore, the price will also be based on the fact that a large part consists of fixed annual costs throughout the project’s lifetime., With the possibility of access to broader projects, changes will be introduced in the new year regarding how data are ordered, as well as adjustments to the current pricing model in Denmark's Data Portal. In the new pricing model, we are introducing “Data Packages.” Each data package includes a set of registers belonging to a specific theme, which is expressed in the title of the data package. You can see an overview of the data packages and where the individual registers belong here (in Danish)., Datapakker (pdf), You will pay for the number of data packages you are approved for and for the number of project accesses associated with each project. These elements cover the costs related to data delivery. In addition, there will be charges for special services that are ordered (such as consultancy, external data, and possible population delineations). All new projects from 1 January 2026 onwards will be under the new pricing model.
